I read this story Soft, like a Rabbit by Andrea Kail (whose story “The Sun God at Dawn, Rising from a Lotus Blossom” is quite possibly my favorite scifi story ever) and I cried. It reminded me of when my mother died. It’s very sweet and very strong at the same time. I will definitely be adding Kail to my “must read” list.
