So let’s see:

JK Rowling is being sued for copy infringement…again. One would think that an author genuinely concerned over their copyright would jump on this thing ASAP, not nine or so years after the fact.

Also Residents of West Bend, WI are suing for the right to burn Francesca Lia Block’s Baby Be-Bop, which is about a man coming to terms with being gay. Since people have the right to burn books they themselves own I have to assume they are suing to be allowed to publicly burn the library’s copy. Utterly ridiculous barely begins to cover it.

Also, those who attended this year’s Romantic Times Conference should take a very close look at their credit card statements, since not only has the hotel been plagued with fraud before, but many attendees have noticed fraudulent charges on their card. Many more are canceling their cards just in case.
