Free Health Screenings Tuesday March 23 at the Portland Library

Categories: current events, health/exercise/weight loss, Personal

This is just a reminder to our community agencies that the Norton Mobile Prevention Center will be here at the Portland Library to do health screenings on Tuesday, March 23 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Norton does require that we have 20 folks pre-registered, so if you or anybody you know is thinking about coming, please call to let us know.  You can either call Norton at 899-6842 or the Portland Library

at 574-1744 to sign up.

Here are the pertinent details:

On Tuesday, March 23 from 12:00 to 5:00 the Norton Mobile Prevention Center will be here to offer mammograms, pap smears, prostate exams, and colon screening for those 40 and over at no cost, the only exception being mammograms for those who do have health insurance.  State law requires Norton to bill insurance companies for that service.   Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended.

We will also have the AARP tax folks here from 12:00 to 4:00 that day, so you can have your health checked and have your taxes filed too!

Please help us spread the word.

Thank you very much,
Rachel
