At least the heat is good for something… We got red and orange tomatoes, ‘Bright lights’ swiss chard (which I’ve never had before), a massive zucchini, yellow squash, some sort of squash that looks like an albino zucchini, an onion, zucchini relish, strawberry preserves, banana bread and zucchini bread. I am quite happy.

Gardening seems like a hassle sometimes  (especially when it’s hot, or I’m not feeling well like now). But invariably once I get out there and start doing some clipping, or weeding, or rearranging I feel so much better.
