“Handsome warriors don’t usually just show up in your bedroom in the middle of the night. But when they do, it’s usually with a fleshy tentacle monster sidekick and they’re trying to kidnap you. A decade ago the world suddenly changed for everyone in an event that officials call “The Merge” and most people call “The Rip”. Two worlds, one mundane, one magic, somehow spliced together permanently. Ivy has long since adjusted to life where orcs and elves play D&D and ambulances carry healing potions. Even her seeming immunity to magic is little more than a blip on her list of inconveniences in life, significantly less impactful than the recent death of her true love from the very basic scourge of cancer.

But trouble seems determined to find her…
