GUD Issue 2 Sneak Preview

Members of the GUD website have been given free samples of the stories in issue two to download and look at. My story was “By Zombies; Eaten” by Christopher William Buecheler.

“…people standing around in a cemetery these days tend to feel like items at an all-you-can-eat buffet…” Buecheler’s narrator says in this tale of a zombie uprising told by a sheriff trying to defend his town from the monsters, and not looking forward to adding little Anna to the nearby school of haunted kids and the few desperate adults trying to preserve them. This story comes from that raw emotional place in a traumatized human mind. You won’t find blood sprays, gnashing zombie teeth or heart rushing attack scenes in this story because Buecheler has something more important to say.
