Popinjay – Hope
For fun I’m participating in my friend Michelle’s Popinjay Photo Concept Challenge. I’m not by any means a professional, or even really an amateur photography. But I love excuses to take pictures. This week’s concept is Hope. (Details here.) Here’s my picture.
I thought it was apt, given this is the first full week of January.
Ooooh Good one! I share that same hope with you. Maybe next week’s word should be accountability? LOL
The thing is I was in yoga once a week and Jazzercise once a week. But then the Jazzercise class ended and the yoga instructor is on maternity leave. So I WAS being accountable, but now am having a hard time doing so.
From June-Oct I was doing Zumba 4x/week. Then I got sick, then the holidays came and I didn’t exercise for two months. I started again yesterday, have to go to the gym every day (per dr’s orders) so I’m hoping (hoping hoping hoping) that I can get back on track and make this as much a part of my life as coffee in the morning.
Yeah, a doctor also told me to stop eating dairy, limit myself to under 1500 calories a day and exercise 1 hr a day every day. It’s not a lifestyle I can sustain. I’m aiming for 3 hrs a week to start with, in addition to eating every 3hrs and eating better and more base line activity (more steps, stairs, etc)
