I’m still alive
I’m still alive! I’m still functioning. I’m writing more than ever. I have two pieces coming out soon with Wet Ink Games as part of their Never Going Home line. (Details on the project and setting are here. They are launching the core game, a book of adventures, and a book of monsters.)
One of the projects I worked with Eric Bloat of Bloat Games, Isle of the Amazons for ZineQuest, is fully funded and should have hit backer’s inboxes by now.
Cursed, the first book in my Ripworld Trilogy is formatted and on course to go live by June 1st, that is this Saturday! I’m really excited about releasing this High-Urban Fantasy novel.
I’m also working with Wet Ink Games on a core book for their +One System.
Also, I will be at GenCon in August, running three games for Wet Ink and probably womaning the booth at times. This will be my first GenCon and my first experience as a “Pro” GM. I’m both ridiculously nervous and excited.
Also I still run Reading Bites for Monster Librarian, a YA book blog aimed especially at librarians and public collection specialists. We are trying to migrate the site from the old format to WordPress, but I’ve been working with them for over twelve years now, and that is a lot of content to move.
All this has been around dayjobbery, and some pretty major life events, including multiple breakups. So, I’m quiet, but I’m fighting, and it seems that some of the efforts of that fighting are just now able to come to the light.
Stay tuned. There is a lot more to come.
