Gaming Meme: Day 10 – Best gameplay
Right now the big one in our house is Wii’s Rayman Raving Rabbids. If for some odd reason you’ve not heard of this series it’s a totally off the wall collection of mini games that you have to win to escape captivity. Here’s an example of the games (which vary from gross to insane to hard as hell)

And at the end of each level is “big game” many of which are twisted versions of the older arcade game Area 51 (did I mention I love shooting games like that?).
It’s probably no surprise then that I love RPGs that are a combo of challenging fights and problem solving (especially with interesting characters). I’m luck enough to know a lot of great GM/Storytellers that each have their own strengths. I think what brings out the best game play is people who love coming up with and running the stories.
