You are so right!

I can’t believe how many Kickstarter requests I’ve gotten in the last couple months, from people who I now regret “friending.” They don’t interact in any way with any of my Facebook postings or status updates, but suddenly know me well enough to send a money request? It doesn’t seem like a very good use of their time, crafting all those requests to strangers.

I’ve also had to unfriend multiple acquaintances because of event invitation spam. 100% of those event invites have been to events hundreds or thousands of miles away from me.

And the Darklinks facebook had to close its Message option due to people asking for favors or wanting this and that, rather than its actual purpose of letting people contact me about a problem or with a question. Sigh!!
